You will spend your day on the phone with business owners, coaches, and consultants who just raised their hand for one of our programs. Your job is to get them on a closer's calendar and get them to show up. This is a phone seat with a real path to becoming an Account Executive.
If you are coachable, relentless on the phone, and you want to out-earn the people you graduated with, keep reading.
The team is small and still being built. That timing matters. The people who build a sales team are not the same as the people who join one that already runs, and the ones who are here early are the ones we promote.
Nothing happens until you pick up the phone.

Your whole list lives in one pipeline in our CRM. Three kinds of people land on it: applicants who qualified for a call but did not book one, people who just bought from us, and people who booked a call and missed it. Nobody else. No cold lists, no scraping, no reactivating a database from two years ago.
Speed comes first. When a new applicant lands, you are on the phone within five minutes with their application open in front of you. You read it before you dial. You book the call live before you hang up, because a link you send and hope on is a call that does not happen. You never quote price. That conversation belongs to the closer.
Then you protect the booking. You call everyone who books within the hour to confirm, and again the day before. When someone misses, you call within the hour and get a new time on the calendar.
Most of this job is follow-through. One attempt is a call, a voicemail, and one short text, once per business day, for up to five business days. You will carry 30 to 40 people at a time and work the list to the bottom most days. We give you the scripts, the triage questions, and the coaching. You bring the work ethic and the ears to get better fast.
This is the whole job on one page. Every person on your list did something in the last day or so that put them there, and that is the reason you are calling.
| Who | When you call | Your move | What counts as a win |
|---|---|---|---|
| New applicant | Within five minutes of applying | Read the application, call, book it live | A call on a closer's calendar |
| Still unbooked | Once a business day, up to five days | Call, voicemail, one short text | A call on a closer's calendar |
| New buyer | Within five minutes of buying | Welcome them, make sure they have what they need, then book the call | A call on a closer's calendar |
| Booked call | Within the hour of booking, and the day before | Confirm the time, answer questions | They show up |
| No-show | Within the hour of the missed time | One call, one voicemail, one text | A new time on the calendar |
You own four numbers, and they are visible to everyone. We are showing you which ones before you apply, not after you are hired. Your headline number is booked calls. Under it sits a floor on how many of those calls actually show, which is why the confirm call matters as much as the first one.
Honor & Fire is a business education company serving small business owners and entrepreneurs across the country. We built a community of more than 34,000 small business owners, a large email list, and a growing membership almost entirely through our content.
That is the part most sales jobs cannot offer you. The product works, the testimonials are real, and the audience already knows our name. Now we are building the sales engine to put fuel on it.
So you are not cold-dialing out of a phone book, and you are not talking people into something they have never heard of. You are calling people who filled out an application or bought from us in the last day or so, and helping them take the step they already asked for.

Real rooms, real owners. No stock photos. These are the people whose names land in your queue.
You want the feedback, you implement it the same day, and you do not get precious about being corrected. That is the single trait that predicts who wins in this seat, and it is the one we screen hardest for.
You own your number. When you are behind, you do not explain it, you out-dial it. You do not blame the leads, the script, the time of day, or the market. You find what is working, you do more of it, and you ask for help early instead of hiding a slow week.
You are organized enough to work a pipeline without someone standing over you. This is remote. Nobody is watching your screen. The dashboard tells the truth about your week, and you are the kind of person who wants it to.
You hold the bar. When someone does not fit, you can disqualify them, but only against our written standard, and you log the reason every time.
You do not explain a slow week. You out-dial it.
Most companies dangle a promotion track that does not exist anywhere except the job post. Ours is a live posting you can go read right now, with its own comp plan and its own scoreboard.
The Account Executive is the closer you book calls for. You will spend your first months learning our buyer, our offer, and our objections from the front of the funnel, which is exactly the apprenticeship that seat requires. When you are ready, you will already know the product, the pipeline, and the people.
Read the Account Executive posting and see where this leads.
We walk you through the full numbers in the process, before anyone asks you to make a decision.
Put a number on this page that we have to walk back in the interview. This seat is on a team we are building right now, and you deserve the real figures from a person, not a range engineered to get clicks.
Walk you through exactly how the seat pays, how it is calculated, and what the top of it looks like, early in the process and in plain language. Ask us on the first call. We will answer.
Someone who wants their income tied to their output and is not nervous about that. If you want a commission to get rich rather than a salary to get comfortable, this is built for you.
The Account Executive seat, and sales leadership as we grow the team. You are early. Early is the whole opportunity.
W-2, fully remote.
Wherever you live, you work from there. We care about your numbers and your coachability, not your commute.
You are hungry, coachable, and comfortable being measured. Maybe you are an SDR or BDR somewhere already and you are tired of a cap on your earnings or a manager who micromanages you. Maybe you are early in your career and you already know the phone is your edge.
What we care about is whether you can sell, whether you can take coaching, and whether you will outwork the room. If you have numbers from a previous phone role, that is your credential. If you do not yet, show us you understand the game.
You are allergic to the phone. You need to be managed to stay busy. You explain misses instead of fixing them. You think "I left voicemails" is the same as "I had conversations."
You would rather send a link than book the call yourself. You want a salary to be comfortable, not a commission to get rich. You go quiet when the week is slow.
Our entire pipeline, calendars, and follow-up live in it, so if you already know your way around the CRM you will ramp faster and we will notice. If you have not touched it yet, say so honestly. We can teach the tool. We cannot teach the work ethic.
Working at Honor & Fire is amazing because it is truly a team experience. Everyone cares so much about doing our best for our customers and the team. Plus, I love knowing that we are literally changing lives every day!
I feel truly valued here. They trust me to do my work and they really see my potential. That kind of ownership is rare, and it's honestly the main reason I love working here.
The worst part of any job search is silence. We don't do that here. A real person reads every application, and you get an answer within two business days, either way. If it's a yes, we'll tell you the next step. If it's a no, we'll still tell you, because you spent the time to apply and you've earned a reply.
That's not a recruiting tactic. It's just how we'd want to be treated.
If you have phone-sales numbers, lead with them. Dials, conversion rate, quota attainment, whatever you have. Those numbers are your credential and they will move you to the front of the line.
If you do not have formal numbers yet, tell us how you would work a list of 20 people who applied for a call yesterday and did not book one, and what you would say in the first ten seconds. A concrete plan and a real opening line count for as much here as a resume.
You are welcome to use AI in your application. We will know the difference between someone who let it write for them and someone who used it to write sharper. One of those is exactly who we are looking for.
